Dr. Basil Shaikhly, BDS, DDS
Board-Certified Endodontist , a board-certified endodontist with years of experience in endodontics and general dentistry, is the co-owner of Expert Endodontics. He graduated as valedictorian from the University of the Pacific School of Dentistry, earning numerous awards. He began his career as a general dentist, gaining valuable restorative experience before specializing in endodontics at Texas A&M Baylor College of Dentistry.
Currently serving as the President of the DFW Endodontic Society, Dr. Shaikhly is passionate about advancing endodontic care and fostering collaboration among dental professionals. With a dedication to alleviating dental pain and preserving natural teeth, he provides compassionate, high-quality care. Dr. Shaikhly also served as an educator at his alma mater, promoting dental excellence.
Dr. Obadah Attar is a dedicated and experienced endodontist with extensive training and expertise. He earned his specialty certificate in endodontics from the University of Missouri-Kansas City in 2009, a fellowship in implant dentistry in 2010, and a Doctor of Science Degree in Endodontics from Boston University’s Henry M. Goldman School of Dental Medicine in 2015.
Dr. Attar has a strong academic background, having served as a clinical assistant professor at Boston University, where he mentored postgraduate residents in endodontic techniques and research. He has contributed significantly to dental science, including inventing a controlled-release antimicrobial agent for root canal treatments and authoring chapters in renowned dental publications and dental textbooks.
