After your endodontic treatment at Expert Endodontics, it’s normal to experience mild tenderness in the treated tooth and surrounding gum tissue for a few days. This is a natural part of the healing process and can usually be managed with over-the-counter pain relievers like ibuprofen or acetaminophen. You can resume your regular dental hygiene routine and most daily activities immediately after the procedure. However, avoid chewing on the treated side until your tooth has been restored with a protective crown or filling by your restorative dentist.
